The Popular Show Campaign 4 Unveils the Fighters Party

Since the launch of Campaign 4, recently appointed game master Brennan Lee Mulligan has kept viewers on edge with deep backstory, a diverse cast of characters, and a thrilling plot showcasing angels, fiends, and sinister influences expanding in strength within Dol-Makjar.

Warning: Spoilers for Episode 3 of Campaign 4 follow below.

The Combat-Oriented Party Revealed

The third episode concluded with a huge suspense moment and introduced the first table of characters who will separate from the main group to undertake their separate journey, separate from the additional parties.

This warrior group includes Teor (brought to life by the voice actor), the agile character (Laura Bailey), the strong-willed figure (the cast member), Wicander Halovar (Sam), and Kattigan Vale (Robbie).

The Reason for Division

Considering a large ensemble, it was evident from the outset that maintaining everyone at a single group would be unfeasible.

Hence, the initial installments of the new season serve as an Introduction, intertwining the individual narratives before dividing into three separate parties: Warriors, Planners, and Questers.

The Nature of the Warrior Group

As described by the DM, the combat-focused party is for participants who prefer a traditionally charged fight-heavy gameplay experience where peaceful solutions are few and far between.

Initially, characters like the hesitant healer Wicander might look mismatched, but the developments of episode 3 make it clear why these particular heroes are perfectly fit for the Soldiers table.

Motivations for Departure

First, the group has a clear idea where to proceed after a intense opening clash with the antagonists.

Casimir of the deceased character—whose death started the story’s plot—used the enemy for his selfish purposes, invading the secret base, striking the rogue, and swiping all the powerful objects to auction.

The traitor then settled his liabilities and ran away to a fortified location in the remote area, north of the urban center, with Teor’s brother pursuing him.

Personal Motivations

Secondly, each character has a individual motive to depart the urban setting:

  • The agile hero, as the close ally and trusted friend, seeks revenge.
  • The adventurer knows the region and advises that it is a dangerous place.
  • The strong character and Wicander, having resisted his house’s orders to eliminate the fighter and instead saved him, have no other options.
  • However, their reputation as important members in House Halovar could assist the group enter areas they typically wouldn’t be able to.
  • Moreover, Teor swore a life debt to The cleric for his rescue and will now accompany him wherever.

Wanted and Hunted

Finally, all of them are hunted by the powers that govern the setting for a variety of reasons, making staying in the city too risky:

  • The agile adventurer and The hero are known criminals.
  • Tyranny and The healer defied the powerful family and the legion of demons they are aligned with.
  • Teor is wanted dead by the family.

This leaves them no alternative but to journey toward Timmony in search of the antagonist.

Upcoming Developments

According to episode three’s post-show segment, we learn that the Soldiers table won’t be around in the upcoming installment, leaving the rest of the players to assemble the Questers and Strategists groups.

Fans can anticipate finding out which characters will be in which group in Campaign 4’s final introductory chapter, released on next week.
